A MOVIE ADAPTATION OF ‘HALF OF A YELLOW SUN’ YIPPPPPEEEE

With great excitement, I await the adaptation of Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s novel ‘HALF OF A YELLOW SUN

The Novel which won the Orange prize for fiction in 2007 reflects the afterlife of the Biafra war in Nigeria and its citizens who were left to carry on with their lives. It is a novel which the author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie uses this novel as a nostalgic memory of the history of Nigeria which must not pass away and must be told in years to come to younger generations who must understand Nigeria and colonization.

It is a must watch after its adaptation; for the best have been employed to portray the story in the novel and to recall to life Nigeria in the 60’s- with actresses such as Genevieve Nnaji, Thandie Newton  Chiwetel Ejiofor, Dominic Cooper and Anika Noni Rose what else could we ask for….I CAN’T WAIT.

Hurray to Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie- I will stand by you someday
