Nigerian Chibundu Onuzo voted Number 1 UK black student for 2012.
The name Chibundu Onuzo which may seem strange to you, would soon be a household name as she was recently voted UK’s best black Students in Rare Rising star. She is a writer, an author and just at the age of 21, she has made media appearances on BBC Radio 3’s ‘The Verb’ and BBC Scotland ‘The Book Cafe’. She’s been profiled by CNN and The observer as one of the Authors to watch out for in 2012.
Yet a graduate at The King’s College in London, her first novel is titled, THE SPIDER KING’s DAUGHTER and she is now the youngest woman ever to be signed to Faber & Faber.
She has indeed made her parents, the Nigerian name and women proud! I wish you all the best.
