Every time there is a war between two countries, men are sent out to fight and have a peace watch all over the city; they stag, train, combat for their country’s name. Many of them return and many don’t, they are either “missing in action” or dead to the reality of life they come back to.
These men are fathers, husbands, sons, boyfriends, colleagues, best friends and uncles. They leave home to train before wars and sometimes come home bruised, they leave home for war and sometimes come back paralyzed amputated or insane. They have been brave, they have been selfless.
Those they leave behind often pray and render wishes that they would come back; sometimes those prayers may be answered and sometimes it all goes wrong and there are more tears than pain like the day they left. Young ladies have become widows, kids have become fatherless. Time and time again its always the same.
Men who have joined the force either to the opposing or defending battalion have done so for their countries, families and even themselves; they have fought the good fight and regardless of who comes back home or not, they are always regarded as hero(s).
The hero(s) of many nations are those men who volunteered as soldiers to go into war, they are hero(s) to their family and hero(s) to one another and hero(s) to themselves. They are selfless and respect an honor belongs to them
You might have never met one but say a prayer today for everyone of them, say a prayer for their loved ones, even if you don’t know one say a prayer for the nations at war.
