I have said it before, that I wish I was never conceived
For who would have thought that life was the best passage for man?
A passage of violence, pain, loss and iniquity
A passage they say he spends learning, forgiving and moving
One he can only escape through death- the same death, he spends his life avoiding
I have said it before that I wish I was never conceived, but now that I am
I am life itself
I am all that I am and can ever be
A flavour to the life I want to taste
An angel to whoever knows me
I have said it before that I wish I was never conceived for though I was a child, I have become a man who has seen that life itself is but a passing.
