Poem: He Longs For A Lover

poetry-husband-and-marriage

Like a singing bird,
With colorful feathers
He whispers his needs
And pokes at his cravings
With words for the sacred lover
A lovely soul
He wants cupid to send
A true lover,
As hard as rock
One with a heart to give
But no lover to receive
A sensitive spirit
Scared of a broken heart like he is
Offering a love as endless as storms
Fitted to receive his heart,
One he would willingly give.
